5) Circle Border / Annulus
- Outer diameter = inner diameter + 2×border
- Outer area (ft²) = π × (outer diameter ÷ 2)²
- Inner area (ft²) = π × (inner diameter ÷ 2)²
- Area (ft²) = outer − inner
- Volume / Cubic yards: same steps

6) Triangle
- Area (ft²) using side lengths a, b, c (Heron’s formula):
- s = (a + b + c) ÷ 2
- Area = √[ s(s − a)(s − b)(s − c) ]
- Volume / Cubic yards: same steps
7) Trapezoid
- Area (ft²) = ((base₁ + base₂) ÷ 2) × height
- Volume / Cubic yards: same steps
Worked Example (Rectangle)
- Size: 20 ft × 10 ft
- Depth: 3 inches = 0.25 ft
- Area: 20 × 10 = 200 ft²
- Volume: 200 × 0.25 = 50 ft³
- Cubic yards: 50 ÷ 27 ≈ 1.85 yd³

- Total cost: 1.85 × 45 ≈ \$83.25
